Drought-resistant beer

Carlsberg has partnered with Brooklyn Brewery to create the world’s first lager brewed entirely with fonio, an ancient West African grain known for its resilience in arid conditions. This innovative brew, part of Brooklyn Brewery’s 'Brewing for Impact' campaign, showcases the potential for sustainable brewing in a changing climate. Although available only as a limited edition in Copenhagen, Carlsberg Fonio Lager highlights new possibilities for the future of beer.

India 2-wheelers

Ola Electric, India’s largest electric two-wheeler maker, saw its stock surge by 20% on its public debut, making it the biggest Indian listing in two years. Shares jumped to ₹91.20 after opening at ₹76, giving the company a market cap of $4.8 billion. Despite reporting losses, Ola Electric has a 46% market share in India's electric two-wheeler sector and plans to expand its manufacturing capacity by 2026. The Indian electric vehicle market is expected to grow, with varying forecasts on market share penetration by 2028.

Aldi's viral ‘chicken wine’

Aldi has launched its own version of the viral "Chicken Wine" that's popular on TikTok, especially among Gen Z. The wine, originally known as La Vieille Ferme Rosé, has gained attention for its chicken-themed branding. Aldi's new Bordeaux Merlot, priced at £5.99, features similar branding and flavours of red cherries, plums, and blackcurrant.

Women were more frustrated by wrong turns, while men were more concerned with their partner's driving abilities.
