Italy's soaring espresso prices

Italians are facing rising coffee prices as global coffee bean costs surge, sparking concern over the future of their beloved espresso. Traditionally among the cheapest in Europe, consumer group Assoutenti noted that Italy’s espresso prices have risen about 15% since 2021. As supply chain disruptions and climate change impact global markets, baristas face the challenge of balancing higher costs without alienating loyal customers.

Ultra-efficient aircrafts

EasyJet has taken a groundbreaking step by partnering with US start-up JetZero, becoming the first European airline to support the development of a blended-wing aircraft designed for hydrogen technology. This innovative aircraft aims to reduce fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions by up to 50% compared to traditional designs, with an expected service entry by 2030. This move aligns with EasyJet’s commitment to achieving net-zero emissions and reflects strong public support for sustainable aviation, with 71% of Britons favouring zero-emission technologies. As travel habits shift towards more eco-friendly options, the airline is also advancing its Net Zero Roadmap, which includes fleet renewal and the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF).

Four Seasons' Private Jet itineraries

Four Seasons is offering two luxurious around-the-world journeys in 2026. The "Grand Horizons" itinerary is a 24-day journey spanning nine destinations across North America, Asia, and Europe. Priced at US$229,000 per person, this trip includes highlights like a two-night luxury cruise through Ha Long Bay. The "World of Adventures" itinerary is a shorter 18-day journey designed for time-pressed travellers. Priced at US$199,000 per person, this trip takes guests from Singapore to Miami with stops in the Seychelles, Rwanda, Marrakech, Bogotá, and the Galápagos Islands.

The ‘Undetectable Era’ of beauty

The rise of "The Undetectable Era" in cosmetic procedures is stirring conversations about beauty standards and authenticity. A recent viral clip of Christina Aguilera showcases her strikingly youthful appearance, leading to speculation about the advanced, non-invasive treatments she may have undergone. With a focus on subtlety, the trend moves away from the overtly "done" look toward a more natural aesthetic. As technology in aesthetics improves, many now seek undetectable results that maintain their youthfulness without visible signs of intervention. This shift reflects broader cultural changes, challenging perceptions of beauty while raising questions about the implications of striving for a youthful façade in a society that often values appearance above all else.

The rise of divorce getaways

Divorce getaways are becoming more popular as people seek positive ways to celebrate new beginnings. Google search data shows a 70% rise in searches for “divorce parties” worldwide over the past two years, while Etsy reports a 266% increase in searches for “divorce party items”. Destinations like Florida, Barbados, and Turks and Caicos are proving particularly popular for those looking to celebrate in style.
